INGENIERIA DE SISTEMAS

What is A Systems engineering?
Systems engineering is the application of the mathematical and physical sciences to develop systems that use economically the materials and forces of the nature for the benefit of the humanity.
A specially complete definition and that dates back of 1974 us her offers a military standard of the air American forces on management of the engineering.
Systems engineering is the application of scientific efforts and of engineering for:
(1) To transform a need of operation into a description of parameters of performance of the system and a configuration of the system across the use of an iterative process of definition, synthesis, analysis, design, test and evaluation;
(2) To integrate technical parameters related to assure the compatibility of all the interfaces of program and functional so that it should optimize the definition and design of the total system;
(3) To integrate factors of reliability, safety, survival, human beings and others in the effort of total engineering in order to fulfill the aims of cost, planning and technical performance.
Related Fields
Many of the related fields might be considered by narrow entails to the systems engineering. Many of these areas have been contributed by them to the development of the systems engineering as independent area.
Systems of Information A System of Information or (IF) it is a set of elements that interact in order to support the activities of a company or business. Not always a System of Information must be automated (in whose case would treat itself about a computer system), and it is valid to speak about Manual Systems of Information. Normally they develop following Methodologies of System development of Information.
Investigation of operations The Investigation of Operations or (IO) is taught sometimes in the departments of industrial engineering or of applied mathematics, but the tools of the IO are taught in a course of study in Systems engineering. The IO treats of the optimization of an arbitrary process under multiple restrictions.
Engineering of cognitive systems The engineering of cognitive systems is a branch of the systems engineering that treats the cognitive entities, be human or not, as a type of systems capable of treating information and of using cognitive resources as the perception, the memory or Processing of information. It depends on the direct application of the experience and the investigation both in cognitive psychology and in systems engineering. The engineering of cognitive systems focuses in how the cognitive entities interact with the environment. The systems engineering is employed at the intersection of:
1. The development of the society in this new age
2. The problems imposed by the world
3. The needs of the agents (human being, hardware, software)
4. The interaction between several systems and technologies that they affect the situation.
Often designated as human engineering or engineering of human factors, this branch in addition studies the ergonomics in system design. Nevertheless, the human engineering is in the habit of treating as another speciality of the engineering that the system engineer must integrate.
Habitually, the advances in engineering of cognitive systems develop in the departments and areas of Computer science, where they are studied deeply and there integrate the artificial intelligence, the engineering of the knowledge and the development of interfaces man - machine (designs of usabilidad).

  2. Good day for all!!! This article is very interesting, though in my case, the part that call me more the attention of the systems engineering is networks!!!
    But this is very informative!!!
    See you....
